We don’t usually hear about stories on what involvement the mother of the groom provides in the process of the wedding. But we most of the time know that they are the ones who usually shed a tear or two and almost always don’t want to give their son’s away to the bride during the wedding ceremony.
In reality, the mother of the groom usually plays a great part in the process of the wedding, especially helping the groom include some of the family’s tradition to the wedding. And also help out in collecting contacts and delinquent RSVPs on the grooms side of guest list. They usually lend a hand as well in organizing the pre-party needs from the bridal shower, engagement party and also with the rehearsal dinner
She provides moral support as well as financial support to both the bride and her son. She also needs to find a dress and her wedding jewelry that will suit the occasion. After the bride finds her wedding gown and wedding jewelry, the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom should discuss the type of gown they are going to wear. The dress that they need to find should also match the theme of the wedding and that the bride agrees on the dress they are considering.
