The exciting news is that the designer has listened to the brides who love her designs but can’t afford her gowns, and she has created a new less expensive collection of wedding dresses. The new line is called Roses by Reem Acra and it will be carried exclusively at Nordstrom. Watch for the gowns to arrive in the Nordstrom Wedding Suites by the end of June.

Roses by Reem Acra was created to have the same glamorous essence as Reem Acra’s signature collection, but with less pricey fabrics and pared down details. Now everything being relative, these gowns are not exactly cheap (only one is under $3000), but compared to the usual Reem Acra price tag which is double that or quite a bit more, they are a veritable bargain. The collection is made to order, so brides can try on samples and have their gown made just for them. That also allows for custom fit options, if needed.

Reem Acra is not the only famous bridal designer who has opted to make a less expensive collection for Nordstrom. In February, Amsale debuted Nouvelle Amsale, a lower priced selection of gowns made with her classic style. Again, those gowns are less than half of the average price of the signature line, so they are a fantastic option for the bride who wants the look for less.

In case you are wondering how Reem Acra could create gowns with her Hollywood style for less than half of her usual price, it is because they are far less intricately detailed than her signature collection. All that lavish embroidery and beadwork is expensive to produce, after all. But the gowns are quite lovely nonetheless, and are going to be a great choice for brides who love the Reem Acra style.
