Who Controls The Rehearsal Dinner?

While the bride’s main responsibility is to make everything in the wedding perfect especially looking after the wedding venue and the reception area, the groom on the other hand will take care of the rehearsal dinner.

He will have total control on where he would want it, what type of food he want serve, what type of décor to be put in the venue, and make the invitation. Although he would still need to consult with the bride on whom she would want to be in the rehearsal dinner beside from her own family and her bridesmaids. She may have some out-of-town guests that she would want to include or some long time friends she wants to invite.

Beside from that the groom will take charge even at the day of the rehearsal dinner. His guests will wait for his speech honoring his bride. And probably even after the dinner, the groom can hand his groomsmen gifts to his groomsmen. A great way to end a great dinner!
