Bad Bridesmaid Gifts

As a bride, you should want to reward your bridesmaid for all the hard work and effort they have put into making your wedding everything you dreamed it to be. That’s why they deserve bridesmaid gifts. There are so many different kinds of bridesmaid gifts to buy, where do you start? And what do you choose? Try going with bridesmaid jewelry as a bridesmaid gift. Your bridesmaids can wear the bridesmaid jewelry in the wedding as well as after the wedding. This most certainly is a good bridesmaid gift, but there are some bad bridesmaid gifts out there as well. Make sure the bridesmaid gifts that you give have no adverse effects on your bridesmaids.

Wedding Checklist 101

For a bride, it is very important to remember all the things that she needs to get done before her big day. This is why a wedding checklist is so important. A wedding checklist is a checklist a bride makes for herself. It consists of every little thing to the smallest detail that needs to get done before the wedding day. The last thing a bride wants is to forget something such as her garter. Although this example may seem a bit silly, the wedding checklist is a great thing to have to make sure no larger detail is forgotten. So be sure to make yourself a wedding checklist and go over it twice or maybe three times before the big day.

Choosing Bridesmaid Gifts

Every bride should reward their bridesmaids for all the hard work that they have put in to helping the bride plan her wedding. Brides have many different choices as to what to buy their bridesmaids. There isn’t any set standard as to what to purchase them. One gift that does stand out above the rest is bridesmaid jewelry. Not only can bridesmaid wear their bridesmaid jewelry after the wedding but during the wedding as well. Consider giving your bridesmaid’s gifts of jewelry for their hard work and effort in making your wedding all you wanted it to be.

Gift Registry For A Wedding

A Wedding Gift Registry is a wonderful thing! I remember back when my wife and I were married, many of our guests purchased items that we registered for to give us as wedding gifts. We were so grateful. Many times, a wedding gift registry can be a little offensive to your wedding guests. You want to make sure that they understand that they are not obligated to buy you a gift. Make sure you don’t step on anyone’s toes when sending out wedding gift registry announcements when you send out your wedding invitations.

Travel Tuesday

Once a couple gets married it’s off to the honeymoon. Honeymoons are so fun, especially because of all the anticipation that the couple shares together.

I can remember that my wife and I went to Orlando, FL for our honeymoon. It was very memorable. We had little money and so we weren’t planning on staying anywhere fancy, we were just excited to be going to Florida. The day of our wedding, I received a phone call from my great uncle. He told me that he had two timeshares in Orlando that he wanted us to have for a week! Wow, what a present! Our honeymoon was definitely a memorable one.

There are many destinations to visit that will make a memorable honeymoon. One of those paces is Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen. Bridal Hood has posted beautiful pictures of this top resort located on the Yucatan Peninsula. Enjoy them!
